The transport between islands occurs in speedboats with a capacity of 28 to 40 passengers, there is only connection between populated ports, such as:

• Puerto Ayora – Santa Cruz Island
• Puerto Baquerizo Moreno – San Cristobal Island
• Puerto Villamil – Isabela Island
• Puerto Velasco Ibarra – Florena Island

There is no direct route between San Cristóbal and Isabela, we must make a stop in Santa Cruz and take a new boat.

There are 2 daily schedules on each route, and the travel time is 2:00 – 2:30 hours.

In the first half of the year, from January to June, the sea conditions are more stable than in the second half, from July to December, when the waves are stronger.
