Join us on an exciting tour to Bartolomé Island, the youngest island in the Galapagos to explore the impressive volcanic formations and lunar landscapes that have created a unique environment. From the lookout point, we will observe the impressive Pinnacle Rock, a volcanic cone that rises above the sea.

Departure time: 06:00 or 07:00 am.
From: Puerto Ayora → Itabaca Channel.
Duration: 10 hours.
Navigation: 2 hours per route.
Yacht capacity: 16 people.
Activities: 80% Hiking and 20% Snorkeling.

ITINERARY

All passengers will be picked up from the different hotels they are staying in to head towards the Itabaca Canal (approximately 40 minutes).

Upon arriving at the Itabaca Channel, we will take the boat that will take us to BARTOLOME Island , approximately 2 hours navigation
10:30
We will anchor close to the island and board a dinghy boat to disembark in Bartolome island. The disembark is a dry-landing.

You will start the journey through the corridor of the island where you will observe stunning views.

During the journey you will observe rock and volcanic formations, craters that will make you think you are on another planet. This place is definitely the ideal place to understand more closely the evolution that makes these islands a famous and world-renowned place.

Along the way you can also find several lava lizards , marine iguanas resting in the surroundings, and if you are very lucky you can observe the Galapagos hawks analyzing their surroundings in search of the day’s game.

After an entertaining ride we will return to the boat to sail to our next destination. But first the staff will wait for us with an exquisite lunch next to the most beautiful landscape of the archipelago.

After an entertaining walk we will return to the dinghy boats back to the yacht to get the snorkeling gear. In the way to Sullivan Bay we will sail close to cliffs where you can observe the Galapagos penguins

We will arrive to our last visit that can be Sullivan Bay or Playa Dorada, this will depend on the itinerary of the day. Here we will have our snorkeling activity where we can enjoy a variety of marine fauna such as sea turtles, rays, and Galapagos penguins. We will get into the water from the dinghy boat.

Snorkeling here is surrounded by volcanic formations underwater. Here you can spot sea turtles, rays, sea lions and the Galapagos penguin.

We will return to the boat to enjoy exquisite lunch next to the most beautiful landscape of the archipelago.
Around 14:15 we will return back to Itabaca Canal where the bus will be waiting you to bring you back to Puerto Ayora town. We will return around 18:00
