ITINERARY OF ACTIVITIES

clock

08:00

Meeting point is at our office, where you will grab all snorkeling gear before heading to the port.

clock

08:15

We’ll head to “El Velero” pier, where depending on the tide level we will either board the boat directly from here or take an aqua-taxi that will bring us to the boat.

clock

08:30

After a marine-army inspection we will start engines and leave Puerto Ayora town to head to our first stop.
Note: Depending on tide levels or National Park Regulations the order of activities can be either starting at Playa escondida or Santa Fe island or the opposite. We can’t guarantee the visit at the beach as entrance is very dangerous if sea conditions are not favorable. In case captain does not stop here we will do another extra snorkeling/activity on Santa Fe.

clock

09:10

Our itinerary start first with a stop at Hidden Beach located 40 minutes distance, a beach accessible only by boat. Due to its rocky entrance, if conditions are unfavorable on the day of our visit, we will avoid this beach for safety reasons and instead do another activity in Santa Fe.

clock

--:--

On this beautiful beach we will have free time where you can walk around on your own or do a snorkeling activity where you can find tropical fish and sea turtles.

clock

10:10

We will return back to the boat.

Our staff will provide you with towels and snacks to recharge energies.

clock

10:20

We’ll start the engines and begin our journey towards the most anticipated part of the tour! Santa Fe Island, which will take us approximately 1 hour to reach.

clock

11:20

Once we arrive in Santa Fe, we will visit Barrington Bay where we will begin by sailing very close to its cliffs to observe seabirds such as blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, pelicans and sea lions resting.

clock

11:40

We will put on all our snorkeling equipment and then jump in near the cliffs from where we will start snorkeling around them until we get very close to the shore of the beach (this beach is prohibited by the PNG for walking) so the activity will be in its surroundings.

clock

The main underwater activity will be swimming alongside playful juvenile sea lions, which are abundant on this island as it is one of the islands with the largest population of this species.
