This exclusive tour will take us to South Plaza and Punta Carrion, on an unforgettable journey that is home to three species of iguanas: the marine iguana, the land iguana, and the hybrid iguana, a rarity in the archipelago.

Departure time: 08:00 am.
From: Puerto Ayora → Itabaca Channel.
Duration: 6-7 hours.

ITINERARY
08:00
We begin the adventure by picking you up directly at your hotel in Puerto Ayora to embark on a journey of approximately 45 minutes to the Itabaca channel, where the yacht awaits us that will take us on an unforgettable experience driven by our expert staff.

We will start boarding the yacht from Itabaca Canal and sail for approximately hour and a half to reach the island.
10:15
We will anchor close to the island and then embark in a dinghy boat for a land-disembark on Plaza Sur.

Upon disembarking you will be able to see in its crystal clear waters several sea lions playing and others resting on the rocks or under the bushes.

Following the tour, you will be able to observe several yellow land iguanas walking through the cacti or on rocks.

Depending on the time of year, the vegetation changes, in the rainy season it is an intense green color and in the dry season it changes to a reddish orange color.
11:45
Along the way you can find several lava lizards , marine iguanas resting on the reddish vegetation and the famous hybrid land iguanas that are a cross between a marine and a land iguana. These hybrid iguanas can only be seen on the Plazas Islands. After this trek we will return to the yacht to visit the next destination.

We will arrive at Punta Carrión. Here we will use again the dinghy boat. (there is no port here, we will get into the water from the dinghy).

Here you have the opportunity to observe Galapagos sharks, sea lions, rays and colorful fish. Around 2:45 pm we will return to the Itabaca channel to return to Puerto Ayora.
13:45
After an entertaining snorkel we will return to the boat where staff on board will offer you lunch to regain all your energy.
At 14:30 aproximately we will return back to Itabaca Canal where the bus will be waiting you to return back to Puerto Ayora town. You will arrive here around 16:00.
